Rose Hip Oil: a Panacea for Eczema

by Martha Fitzharris

A lot of people ignore their rashes thinking that they are a momentary thing that will pass in a couple of days, however, they're often mistaken. For example, eczema, a common skin condition, presents itself as a rash but can lead to blistering and even infection.

Eczema has no known cure, but there are effective treatment options that can help you control the flare-ups. Antihistimines and steroids are some of the more common forms of treatment. In fact, making a few simple adjustments to your daily routine will also help you deal with this skin affliction.

The proper dry skin care routine can alleviate some of the common symptoms associated with eczema skin. This routine should include a good moisturizer, which can also provide relief. This product should be fragrance-free and alcohol-free so that it won't cause any unwanted side-effects.

A safe alternative is rose hip oil. This oil works perfectly as a moisturizer because it absorbs quickly into the skin and acts on irritated skin almost instantly. Since it is natural, it is also quite gentle and can be used on even the most sensitive types of skin.

Rose hip oil is very compatible with human skin for several factors, one of which is the fact that it has a pH of 5.1. For this reason, allergic reactions should not be a concern for you if you use this product. Rose hip also contains high concentrations of Vitamin A, C and essential fatty acids.

Vitamin A is an essential component in healthy skin because it is known to help delay the aging process and boost the generation of new cells, collagen and elastin. Vitamin C, on the other hand, is a potent antioxidant that can repair damaged skin, deter the aging process and treat hyperpigmentation problems.

The essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6 are also a vital part of healthy skin. They are responsible for the production of prostaglandins, which are hormone-like substances that regulate inflammation, pain, and swelling. Additionally, the lack of these acids will most likely set off eczema.

These ingredients help rose hip oil alleviate most eczema symptoms. It helps reduce edema (swelling) and eliminate patches of dry skin. By doing this, it also helps relieve the itching sensation that is commonly associated with eczema.

It is not necessary to discontinue your actual eczema treatment regimen if you want to try rose hip oil. Nevertheless, consult with your doctor if you decide to take this step. With eczema as with all health issues, it is better to be on the safe side.

To use rose hip oil, just apply a few drops of the product to the affected area and massage. When using this product you should either apply it during the nighttime or apply a good sunblock after having applied rose hip oil to your skin. This will help protect it from sunlight which can alter its effect on your skin.

BIOSROSEHIPOIL is pure, organic rose hip oil that will provide its full rose hip oil benefits such as alleviating pain, irritation and inflammation. This product absorbs quickly into the skin offering instant eczema relief. BIOSROSEHIPOIL is also beneficial for people trying to treat other skin problems such as dermatitis, dry skin and even scars and stretch marks.
