Scars - What Occurs when your Skin is Injured?
A scar is a mark left on the skin after a wound. Injuries that affect your skin will end in some degree of scarring. Scarring is a result of the normal healing process of our skin and the appearance of a scar depends on size, depth and location of the injury.
How does scarring occur and how can we aid our skin to get rid of scars?
As stated in the introduction, scarring is the normal healing process of a wound. The skin is left with a scar when the deeper and thicker layers of the skin (the dermis) are damaged. The seriousness of the scar will depend on the seriousness of the injury.
Any time our skin gets damaged by, for example an acne infection or a cut, a number of different cells come to the rescue. This is the body's own way of shielding itself from harm. It is a very complex healing process that usually causes scarring.
The healing process starts with the constriction of blood vessels which form clots to minimize blood loss. A scab or crust will shape over the top of the injury. This will work as a shielding barrier against foreign substances, protecting the body whilst repairing the problem.
To fix the damage, the body has to accumulate new collagen fibers; a biologically occurring protein which is produced by the body. Collagen is a tough, fiber-like protein that makes up most of the scar tissue. In scar tissue, collagen is more numerous and more randomly arranged.
This mechanism results in a fortuna scar which is the most common type of scarring. It is signaled by the body's reaction of laying new collagen fibers over the wound. The body cannot exactly reconstruct the tissue causing the new scar tissue to have a different texture and quality than the nearby normal tissue. Scar tissue is commonly of inferior functional quality and less resistant to ultraviolet radiation. This also implies that sweat glands and hair follicles do not grow within these areas.
Skin affected by injuries will certainly be affected by the consequences. That is why it is recommended that you use a treatment solution to avoid possible scar formation. Other incidents that should be treated to avoid scar tissue might include surgical procedures, cuts, accident and/or acne scars. A microdermabrasion solution that uses skin renewal activators and soft physical abrasives will efficiently remove old and new scars.
Scars are an inevitable consequence of a wound. Our body makes an attempt to cure wounds, but sometimes it's difficult to avoid severe scar formation. The best recommendation is to use a microdermabrasion solution to aid the skin to correctly remove scars.
Scars can now be easily eliminated thanks to BIO SKIN EXFOL, a biological skin care solution that includes one of the best healing ingredients that Mother Nature can offer.
