Romantic Weddings You'll Remember Forever

by Ron Thomson

Have you ever wondered what is the most important thing in life that one would like to remember and cherish for the rest of their lives? The marriage ceremony is one such thing that people all over the world would like to cherish and share with their friends and relatives. In fact, irrespective of age lovers who are young in their heart would be dreaming for that wonderful day when they come into a marriage relationship.

Nothing in the world can be more important to the individual than a romantic relationship. In a perfect world romance should lead to a meaningful wedded relationship. It is unfortunate that in today's world few romantic relationships are leading to fruitful weddings. Money has become all important to many and for many people the business of the wedding is more significant than the joy to be found in the company of friends and relatives and the romantic connotations.

Marriage, once revered, is often taken lightly these days. Fast disappearing are the once-in-a-lifetime romantic weddings, lost in the swirl and speed of modern life. Meaning for this wonderful and life-affirming event is slipping away as an increasing number of couples fail to grasp the depth and charm of romance, and romantic weddings. This lack of foresight often leads to emotional tragedy. While divorce rates rise, and romance declines, modernism and New World thinking bear responsibility as the primary culprits.

Some say that marriages in the western world are not as romantic as they could be. There are so many laws in place in Europe and North America which are designed to encourage families, that many people see the need to marry just to receive the many tax breaks and financial incentives on offer and to gain independence from their parents. It is unfortunate that these well meaning laws are being exploited by couples who do not treat marriage with the respect it deserves.

It is important that the couples planning to wed have their marriage ceremony as romantic as possible. After all, a person does not get married very often in his/her lifetime. So, their love for each other will be evident to their relatives and friends in romantic weddings, making them not only enjoyable events but also memorable experiences.

When two people are planning their wedding, they should make it as romantic as possible. They should consider setting this tone by finding or designing a gorgeous, relaxing and inspiring setting. Obviously inviting family and close friends are a key part of a romantic wedding, and for future memories for all, pictures and even a video should be taken.

Newly married couples should go on a honeymoon, an extended vacation to be enjoyed together. Besides providing privacy for the couple, the vacation destination should be beautiful, scenic and romantic. The vacation plays a crucial role in helping the couple to feel the love and affection throughout their married life. It ensures that the lamp of love lit during their wedding shines bright and long.

The marriage ceremony is one of the most important occasions in life, something to remember and cherish forever. However, not all romantic relationships lead to a beautiful ceremony and a happy lasting marriage. Any couple planning on marrying should try and ensure their wedding day is full of friends, family and romance. Romantic weddings can be achieved by choosing romantic venues and decor, involving family and friends, and recording the day through photographs and videos in order to preserve it for life. A romantic honeymoon following the big day can help create an intimate bond that will last a lifetime.
